Manash Pratim Sarma is an Urban Planner with fourteen plus years of experience in urban consulting domain. His specialization includes managing large scale urban infrastructure projects, public-private partnership advisory services in urban infrastructure sectors such as area based development, urban transport, social infrastructure, and tourism. He possesses end to end expertise in project conceptualization, feasibility studies, project structuring, bid document preparation, bid process management and post-contract management. He has worked as team leader, project manager and lead analyst at client locations and handled Government and Private Sector Clients directly.

Manash was the Team Leader of the Project Management Consultant (PMC) team supporting Namchi Smart City Limited in implementing Smart Cities Mission in Namchi. Previously, Manash worked as the project manager for Tumakuru Smart City Limited PMC and the DFID funded support programme to Smart Cities mission in Madhya Pradesh. During his DFID stint, he was responsible for providing handholding support to all seven cities in the smart cities mission for smart cities planning and implementation. He has developed model bidding documents for selection of project development and management consultants for smart city projects and for implementing agencies for fast track projects. He managed team which was also responsible for guiding and reviewing the smart city proposals of the Ujjain, Gwalior, Sagar and Satna in second round of smart cities challenge. He holds a graduate degree in urban planning from School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi.
