Job Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Valuation Analyst at Nangia & Co LLP in Noida. The valuation professional will be responsible for performing financial modelling and valuation analysis through various methodologies like Discounted Cash flow method, Comparable Companies Method, Net Asset Valuation. This role revolves around building complex and detailed valuation models along with detailed and comprehensive valuation reports for both taxation as well as regulatory compliance requirements. They will assist in business valuation and analysis of financial statements to identify the key areas of consideration in a business model and determine its fair valuation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models for valuation purposes, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and other valuation methodologies.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial statement analysis, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform industry and market research to gather relevant data and insights for valuation purposes.
  • Prepare valuation reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, clearly articulating key assumptions, methodologies, and conclusions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including corporate finance, strategy, and operations, to gather necessary information and provide valuation support.
  • Assist in the preparation of valuation analyses for mergers and acquisitions, investment opportunities, strategic planning, and financial reporting.
  • Stay current with industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact valuations.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of valuation models and maintain proper documentation of methodologies and assumptions used.


  • Semi Qualified CA, MBA (Finance)
  • Past experience of working in financial modelling, valuation, investment banking, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong command on statutory provisions of valuation under the Income Tax Act 1961, The Companies Act 2013 and The Foreign Exchange and Management Act 1999.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and other related softwares.
  • Solid understanding of valuation techniques and methodologies, including DCF, market multiples,. Knowledge about complex valuation methodologies like Black Scholes Model and its applicability along with options pricing analysis and Back Solve method is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a comprehensive valuation report clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
